Daddy: Are you going to fly to Nana & Papa's?
Draya: I can't fly!

Mommy: Does you mouth hurt?
Draya: Yes
Mommy: Do your teeth hurt?
Draya: Yes
Mommy: Do you want me to give you some medicine to make it feel better?
Draya: No!
Mommy: Are you just going to lie here in pain all night?
Draya: Yes

Mommy: You're going to be to big to wear that jacket soon.
Draya: I'm not big I'm little!
Mommy: I'm just saying that you've grown and are bigger than you used to be.
Draya: NO! YOU'RE big, I'm LITTLE!

Long Weekend Low Down

Draya had a VERY busy Thanksgiving long weekend! Here are some of the highlights…

On Saturday she went to Londonderry Mall with I & G & Mommy & L to see Toopy and Bino live. Then she played for the rest of the day at I & G’s house with Daddy & P while Mommy & L went to a wedding.

On Sunday morning we all went to Nana & Papa’s for brunch. Cousin C and his new baby sister were in town from Calgary and Draya and C had lots of fun playing together. Cousin G was there too so the house was full of little people. It was wonderful!

On Sunday night we all went to Grandma & Grandpa’s for Grandpa’s birthday party and Thanksgiving. Draya and her cousin W played with puzzles and cars and had a grad time. Draya is NOT a fan of turkey but she does like cranberry sauce.

On Monday Draya helped Daddy rake the leaves in the yard while Mommy cooked her first turkey and cleaned the house. Draya also leaned about jumping in leaf piles – whee!!! Then, Nana, Papa, Uncle R & G all came over for a very nice dinner.

Many photos were taken and as soon as Mommy has time to download the camera they will be posted. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Little Drama Princess

Daddy was leaving to go out with P this morning. Draya put on her rubber boots and wanted to go with him. She stood in front of the back door, in her jammies and yellow boots and wouldn’t let him pass…
Daddy: Draya, do you really want to go with Daddy to the computer store OR do you want o go see Toopy and Bino at the Mall with I & G?
Draya: Want to go with Daddy!
Daddy: Oh…
So, we moved her onto the stairs and she just stood there, with a single tear running down her left cheek, watching him go.
And then she was fine.
She is such a little Drama Queen.
